Barack Obama...

is the 44th president of the United States of America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And I am here to see it, my mother is here to see it, and my daughter has watched the entire process from the very beginning. It is truly a beautiful thing.

We live in such exciting times! My husband and I stood in line for almost 5 hours to VOTE!

We were just happy to be a part of Democracy in progress. We now have a new Leader for the Free World who really seems to Lead by Example. Woo-hoo!

The world is watching and tonight they saw that the American Dream can be a reality. Obama's work is just beginning, and Americans have to stay involved in the political process to change things. One election is not enough.

And I thought my 3 hours and 40 minutes was long. Sigh. I am so proud that things were conducted in such an orderly manner in SC. yay! At least at my polling place. LOL

A very insightful glimpse into the personality of our *new* First Lady.

Michelle Obama embodies the "realness" that some of us only "wish" for. She seems well-grounded. Time will tell, but, perhaps we finally have an Administration whose only concern is that "Yes, We can".

What a welcome change. I just wanted to share that.
